On Linden Island there are eight houses, “Yanas”, 4 each of the right and left “hand”, the right and left side.
Those of the right hand seek the good, the order, the constructive, the life.
Those of the left hand are ready for the dark, disorder, chaos, destruction, death.
The 4 Yanas of each side are divided into: pre-theistic/pagan, polytheistic, monotheistic, atheistic.
So there are:
the Bees: light shamans, nature spirits of blossoming, honey
the Ravens: dark shamans, natural forces of decay
the Angels: worshippers of many gods who bestow blessings and fertility
the Snakes: Worshippers of many gods, granting power and danger
the Lambs: worshippers of a single god, forgiveness, compassion, church
the Tigers: worshippers of a single deity whom they want to become like
the Dolphins: atheists, scientists who believe in the unity of all being
the Dragons: Atheists who believe in consciousness and themselves.
All eight have strengths and weaknesses.
If they fought together and pulled together, they would be the powerful, mystical center of the world!
Together they could help Hollydeva in her fight to preserve naturalness and nature, against alchymists, wizards and adversaries among the nine Nacharya!
